Join the Sunriver Resort on Sat., Nov. 18th for the Annual Grand Illumination lighting ceremony. Held from 3 pm to 8 pm, this year's festivities will include a visit from Santa, live music, children's craft projects, train rides, Oregon Observatory telescope viewing, face painting, sleigh rides, works from local artisans, huggable characters, fireworks and more. Live entertainment will take place outdoors on the main stage from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Also included will be pictures with Santa, pony rides, a petting zoo and sleigh rides. The lighting ceremony starts at 5:30 pm
On Fri., November 24, work off that Thanksgiving feast at the Sunriver Resort's Annual 5K Turkey Trot Fun Run/Walk supporting the Neighborhood Impact Program. The event will feature a Thanksgiving-themed costume contest with prizes awarded for the most decked-out individuals. Check-in time is 9 am. Pre-registration is required at www.SunriverResort.com

The Civil War returns to SHARC on Sat., Nov. 25th. Come watch the Ducks vs the Beavers in the Oregon Civil War or watch the Huskies vs the Cougars in the Washington Apple Cup on the Big Screen. Game times and details will be announced in the near future.

On Friday, Dec 1, the Sunriver Music Festival together with the Sunriver Resort presents concert rock violinist Aaron Meyers and his band. The Christmas concert will feature original music and virtuoso arrangements of classic favorites and holiday music. The concert begins at 6:30 pm at the Sunriver Resort's Historic Great Hall. New Chamber Member, Personal Defense Consulting, will be offering Oregon and Utah Concealed Carry Permit classes on Sunday, December 3rd at the new Chamber Office in the Business Park. The Sunriver Anglers Club will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary at their 2017 Annual Holiday Party to be held at the Sunriver Resort's Historic Great Hall on Monday, Dec 4th. Cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres will begin at 6 pm and dinner will be served at 7 pm. The dinner will feather a grilled rib eye steak or roasted phyllo wrapped chicken breast.
