James Salmon is a jack-of-all-trades with a deep love for building and fixing things the right way. His roots in construction began 24 years ago when he worked alongside his father and grandfather. Both men were seasoned general contractors who taught Salmon the values of craftsmanship, integrity and hard work.
Before launching Reasonable Handyman, Salmon spent two years on the maintenance team for the Bend La Pine School District, where he handled everything from building things to fixing anything. When COVID hit, he saw the opportunity to use his skills to serve the community.
“My wife and I took the leap and started this business with a simple goal to help people with the jobs they can’t or don’t want to do themselves,” Salmon said. “We are locals here in Sunriver and we built our dream home on the Big Deschutes River.
