| The Sunriver Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary non-profit organization of businesses and professionals dedicated to "promoting economic vitality of our community". Funded primarily by membership investments, local events, programs, and visitor tax dollars, the Chamber works for YOU and is not affiliated with local government. The Chamber also works for a healthy economic climate that promotes tourism, service businesses, good jobs, and honest, efficient government.
The Chamber's strength lies in the size and diversity of its membership. The Chamber represents the interest of its membership in the spirit of cooperation with the plan and philosophy of economic development set forth by our members and the community. Chamber programs address community factors that affect tourism, service businesses, economic development, education, local government, and others.
The Chamber of Commerce identifies issues that affect the business community and provides leadership to respond to them. The goals for each year are determined by the board of directors and its officers with the assistance of the membership.
